The Club was founded in 1894 and is situated in a beautiful setting off Hurst Lane, below the Snake Pass, at the north end of Glossop. It is a most attractive site, having idyllic views all around with the hills of the Peak District providing a dramatic and constantly changing back drop.
There is a broad range of membership types available to facilitate individual requirements. This category range includes Juniors, Student, Intermediate, Ladies’, and Men’s 5, 6, and 7 day membership packages. We run taster sessions for beginners, offer a three months trial period and for the one day a week golfer, we provide Sunday membership. In addition to these options, Corporate membership is available for those in business.
All new members are welcome and will experience a warm, friendly atmosphere in the Club.
If you are a casual golfer or just want to sample the course you can pay and play using a daily green fee.
Social membership is a popular category and is a gentle introduction to the Club, leading, perhaps, to taking up the game of golf.
